Crestron home automation to control sivoia qs

I have a job where crestron home automation need to control our Sivoia QS shades, the simple way is to use CCO but I need to know if we can get crestron to control the shades using RF wireless protocol.
I only have 4 wires pulled to every window.

    Why wouldn't you use QSE-CI-NWK-E ?

Yes QSE-CI-NWK-E is the best option assuming there is not already a qs processor installed for lighting. All you need to do is supply crestron programmer with the Lutron protocol documentation and shade integration id#'s. However using QSE-CI-NWK-E to set or get ID is a bit of a process depending on how big the system is. Familiarize yourelf with the process ahead of time prior to meeting with Crestron programmer. One has to wonder if it almost easier to install a qs processor for integration and programing then typing so many commands to set and get id for shades and groups.

You will not be able to talk directly to the QS shades from Crestron via RF. However, you have 4 wires run to the window, so wired communication is available.

As mentioned above, the NWK would be the most direct option. We do have a "NWK Phantom Button programming guide" on the Application Notes page at www.lutron.com . This explains the commands needed to set up third-party control of more than one shade at a time.

    Crestron swap

Hey, Im sort of in the same situation at a current job I'm working on. We are swapping the lutron processor and bringing in Crestron. However, there are 10 shades staying in one area of the house. I am not familiar with Lutron and do not have the ID's of the shades. I see to install the QSE-CI-NWK-E but whats my plan of attack over here? Thanks

Your best solution would be to create phantom keypad buttons in the QSE-CI-NWK-E and then send button press commands to control the shades.

The Guide App note is here at www.lutron.com - http://www.lutron.com/TechnicalDocum...er%20Guide.pdf

Start with the "?DETAILS,ALL_DEVICES" command on page 4. This will list all the shade serial numbers and Integration IDs (if they were added).
