Question Programmed via s/w or walk around?

For the most part, the clients I deal with end up with QS systems so I very rarely work with RA. I got a call from a new customer that needs work on their existing RA system. Not sure what I am walking into yet, how can I determine if the system was setup using s/w or by walk around? Client has no clue...thanks

Easy, look for a master repeater in the house...ip scan finds them too.
I am not as dumb as you look..

That wouldn't be enough. Even if master repeater is present, it could still be walk around system. Try XML extraction. If that works, this tells you that repeater was programmed with software.

Classic Ra was more like run around and say bad words not walk around.
