    HWQS Designer Software "suggestions"

    A few inquiries / suggestions for 8.1:

When entering new variables on the PROGRAM tab in Designer 8.1, I notice that the name of the variables are not alphabetized. There is also not a way to "re-sort" the variables after the fact. In my projects, I usually create a number of them in my programming so it becomes difficult to search and find them. Also, it would be nice to have a way to "organize" them like you can with Timeclocks; Lights, Shades, Button Presses, etc.

How do you add / change the "default" dimmer level settings in the dropdown box - right now, 25%, 50%, 75% and 100% are not always used by me. Manually entering 10% is cumbersome (the software lets me enter "1" but not "1" then "0" without selecting the dropdown again.

Does anyone know of a way to accomplish / change this?

Thank you for the feedback provided on variables and programming percentages. The option you can edit is what will be the default percentage selected when programming zones. You can edit this at "Tools->Project Settings->Programming" on the "Percent Selected" option.

Thanks Armando, but I use 10%, 35% and 90% a lot... I would like to edit this field so I can put my own custom percentages in... Does that make sense?

Only the default percentage can be changed. Thank you for this feedback.
