Homeworks V5.4905 program will not upload

My computer ( Dell Optiplex360 w/ Windows Vista Basic ) has been supporting my homeworks software for years with no upload problems. Suddenly the controller will not accept an upload & displays the message: "proc1.dat unsuccessful", or "dsp_kernel.s (1/27/2005 01:11pm)". Download seems to work fine and the wall units flash when attempting upload; they then time out & return to original program. Can you tell me how to resolve this issue?

Are you uploading via RS232 or Ethernet ?

I am using the RS232 Direct connect on Com Port 3 with a 115200 Baud Rate.

We would recommend using 9600 baud rate. If you have an 8-series processor, turn on dip switch s2-1 (the first switch on the group on the right) which will also force the processor on that baud rate. If you have a 4-series processor, turn dip switch 3 on.

For further assistance with this issue, could you please provide us with the project file and the processor event logs (in terminal go to File->Processor Event Logs) from the system. Please send them to hwsupport@lutron.com and reference this forum post.

Thank you so much! Changing the baud rate to 9600 seems to have fixed the problem. FYI the processor Model is HRFP-2P. The dipswitch was 3rd from left. AS requested, I am including a copy of the terminal event log:

Turn off hand shaking on rs232 port can you upload a screenshot of your port settings. IS this a multi processor job?

I changed the baud rate to 9600 and that fixed the problem.
