Dimmable plinth lights with grafik eye 3000 ( I think)

Hello all
I am looking to replace my current plinth lights, which were plug and play ( connected to lutron system to allow dimming) and wondered which switch I can use to allow lights to dim and not blow. I hope that makes sense. This has arisen as current lights were plugged into driver then plugged into socket, which is wired to the plug and play connector, which plugs into the cable wired into the lutron switch, without any additional switches, I think that caused the problem, but not sure. Can anyone help please
