malware detected in latest Android App

I recently got a Msg that Malware was detected in the Lutron Caseta android app.

Msg was Android.Generic.Id.9261 was detected.

I am using G Data Mobile security.

I have tried un-installing and re - installing but same results.

Is this 9261 really part of the Lutron code? Is there a reason why this is showing as malware?

Rest assured the Lutron App does not contain any malware. Some security apps do not always have updated security definitions and may report certain apps as malware. I have passed this information along to our Lutron App development team. They will reach out to G Data Mobile to help update their security definitions.
