Future of Thermostats?

Just wondering what the future holds for Lutron thermostats.

You guys showed the Honeywell WiFi unit at CEDIA last year, but no one could answer the question of whether we were going to see one with Lutron guts (so it can work natively in a Lutron system).

Is everything going to be WiFi based (cloud controlled) moving forward? I have some customers who are waiting on me to give them answers.

For the record, I'm not a fan of cloud based control... to many uncontrollable variables.

We currently offer the Honeywell Touchcpro thermostat. This thermostat does talk natively to the Lutron system as does the HVAC controller with RF sensor and seeTemp wall display.

We are unaware at this time what is in store for the near future in regards to thermostat control. Thank you though for your concern.
