Grafik Eye Integration

Hello everybody.

If I have an existing single-room Grafik Eye 3106 installation and want to integrate it into a new Homeworks 4/8 series whole-building installation by connecting it to a dedicated Grafik Eye/WPM communication link, what is going to happen with the existing GRX wallstations? Can they
1) remain connected to the Grafik Eye
2) have to be connected to a dedicated keypad link or
3) are they redundant in a Homeworks system?

If you have an available slot on the GRX/WPM link on the HomeWorks Illumination system, you can do the following:

- Go into programming in the GRX and assign it an address
- In the software, add a GRX and link assign it to the same address given to the GRX you want to integrate
- Program to it in the software
- Perform an upload to the system

Both the GRX keypads and the HomeWorks Illumination system will be able to control the GRX.

So the GRX keypads remain directly connected to the Grafik Eye and don't have to be rewired to a HWI keypad link?

That is correct, but these keypads will not be able to control anything outside the GRX they are wired to.
