DIVA Dimmer
I currently replaced in my basement recessed lighting an incandescent light bulb (spot) with an LED (dimmer) bulb. The DIVA dimmer switch is no longer functional as a dimmer, however the lights do work, but just as a normal on/off switch. Could the dimmer have been burnt out do to the LED bulb. I replaced the LED back to an incandescent bulb and the issue persists - has anyone had this experience.

Hello celottod,
Thank you for your post!
When you replaced the incandescent with the LEDs, was the dimmer on or off? If you changed the bulb with the dimmer on this can create a small surge that is not enough to trip your breaker, but can damage the triac of the dimmer.
Additionally, what is the model number of the dimmer? Not all Diva dimmers are rated for LEDs. LEDs generate an inrush current that is much greater then incandescent, this could cause strain on dimmers not rated for LEDs. The model number will be on the left or right hand side of the dimmer on a sticker that also says Lutron.
We look forward to hearing from you soon!
