Programming Setsquare PIR Variable

Hi Guys

Im having a devil of a time programming a variable using a setsquare PIR in a utility room.

The PIR has been connected to the CCI on the back of a keypad in the same room and the client would like the following to happen:
The PIR to work normally turning the Light On when room is used and Off when room isnt used but he would like to over ride the PIR function by pressing the ON button of the keypad and reinstating the PIR function by pressing the Off button.

Further is it possible to accomplish this with buttons that have scenes written on them as well

Sounds pretty straight foward

Need to track the button press on the keypad. I would make a variable that is set when keypad button is pressed. The keypad button would also work the lights normally.

On the cci of the keypad make that conditional to only turn lights off if the button is in the off state. I think thats what your looking for

I did send the same query to Lutron and just by chance they got back to me this morning before i went to site and sent me the following:

"Create a 2 status variable ( enabled/disabled)

When you program the CCI of the keypad ( close/ open ) you will program it to do nothing under the status disabled and the normal actions under the status enabled.
In the buttons ON and OFF that you have already programmed with scenes , add the variable “disabled” in the button ON and “enabled” in the button OFF.
