I have smart away in auto mode configured on both my and the wife phone. Geofence with ohone option.
she is away , I am home and smart away just kicked in .
Can smartaway be programmed to kick in only when both phones leave the geofence ?
Or does it work with both and I just need to reset my settings ?
There in lies the down side of geofencing. When she leaves the fence the system goes into away mode by the app on her phone sending the away command. Unless your phone or someone else's crosses back across the fence the away mode stays on. I don't think Caseta has a fix for this other than not using the feature.Quote:

I think alarm.com nailed geofencing for multiple phones though. will need to confirm. should be "simple" enough programming to fit the current trends of multiple smartphones - otherwise these functions are only good for single folks !
