PD-6ANS Issue
Have a PD-6ANS to control outside garage lights. All wires are properly connected as this is my second switch that I have connected in my house. Issue is... the outside light does not come on and the green LED is not on (black is 100% the live wire). When is reverse the black and red connection, for whatever reason, the outside is still off, but the green LED is on. Very odd. To trouble shoot further, I removed my working switch to replace with the suspect switch and all works fine. Do I have a bum switch or can something be done to fix the switch?
Thanks in advance!

If the outside switch worked when installed at another location it doesn't sound like a bad switch. Is there a 3-way or 4-way switch that you are missing? The PD-6ANS will work with a single mechanical 3-way switch but you have to do some rewiring at the 3-way.

Switch does not light nor is the Led light on when wired correctly (black wire connected to live wire)
Switch does not light but he led light is on when wires incorrectly per instructions (red wire connected to live wire)
When I take a second switch and install at the suspect location, all connections wired correctly and all works properly.

I had that backwards. Yes, if you install a 2nd switch in the same place, the first switch is bad.
