fan controllers and homekit - is there a known issue?

All my other lights/shades show up fine in Homekit, but none of the fan controllers appear. Is this a known issue? Is there a workaround?

Finally managed to get someone on the phone at Lutron to chat about this and they confirmed that it just doesn't work. "Not designed to do that". Which is just annoying but I guess there's not much I can do about it :/
