Just installed a Maestro fan control and LED dimmer and it works sometimes, but other times it will start clicking and turning on and off by itself. I can get the switch to do this by increasing fan speed on the switch. It won't stop until I turn off the power. All wires are secure. I'll probably just pull the switch and go get another brand but any insight is appreciated. Thanks.
If your fan had a remote or in-wall control it may have a receiver in the fan. The receiver can be located in the canopy or integrated into the control board inside the fan. Sometimes they will work if you set them on high using the remote/in-wall controller then use the Maestro to control the speed.
