3 Way Config with Swtich

I am thinking about adding a dimmer to a 3 way configuration I have right now. I know at this time Caseta does not offer a remote dimmer. Since I do not need to have the ability to dim at the remote location, just need on/off, could I leave the regular 3 way switch in the remote location but just add the dimmer?

The PD-6WCL cannot be wired to a mechanical 3-way switch. See the advanced installation guide for 3-way setup: http://www.casetawireless.com/Docume...ced%20Inst.pdf. The two travelers would need to connect to the load/line wire in that location.
