Windows App to control RadioRa2 system on a Surface Pro 3?

Hey folks,

Is there a Windows Store app to control the Radio Ra 2 system on a Surface 3 or Surface Pro 3? At $499, and running full Windows, it would be more tempting to mount one of these on the wall instead of an iPad.

Part of the reason is how locked down iOS is - with Windows, I was thinking of creating an app that uses the proximity sensor to turn on the screen whenever someone walked up to it - like the Nest.
