Homeworks dimmers with RA2?

Is it possible to connect HQRD dimmers to a RA2 repeater? Have come across a few deals on homeworks devices at a lower price than RRD devices.

I’ve heard that RA2 dimmers can’t connect to Homeworks, makes sense since Lutron wants more money for Homeworks, but what about the other way around?

In a word, no. The only dimmers that RadioRA2 will have anything to do with is RadioRA2 dimmers. The main repeater may see the HW dimmers, but they’ll never activate.

Lutron's current generation of Radio Ra2 however is absolutely amazing and is just as reliable as their high end Homeworks QS system but its limitations are you can't program in conditional logic, you have a device limit of 100 (though that can be doubled if you link two systems.

Just as the Caseta Wireless requires a Smart Bridge to communicate with lighting switches and dimmers, the RA2 Select uses a repeater.
