Keypad troubleshooting
I received a call from a customer saying some of his keypads were no longer working. I found 10 out of 15 keypads were not working. Single led lit on the top of the keypad. I did a diagnostic and no keypads were showing up. Even though some were working. I disconnected all of the keypad feeds and tested each feed individually thinking a bad keypad may take down the entire link. Each feed tested fine and by the end, all keypads showed up. But when I connected all of the keypads back up, nothing would show up. I have a call into tech support and am waiting to hear back but my initial thought is the 15v power supply. Thing is when I metered the power supply it read 16.5vdc. Anyone have this issue? Toph

Your instincts are correct. I've seen the power supply read proper voltage but under load it cant keep up. Seems like the plug-in power supplies are the most susceptible. You could try unplugging a few of the keypads to test. How many is a WAG. The power supply in its current condition might be able to power 14 or just 1 or none at all.

Thanks Randy. I have a power supply on order. I'll report back what I find. Toph
