11.6 Update Question

11.6 just dropped and it added a new integration improvment. Im not sure when this would be used. What would be a user defined custom application? Does this just allow led light control on keypads beyond the ra2 software.

I believe they are just fixing issue(s) they broke back in 10.4 or 5, somewhere in there. It essentially allows control of the LEDs on the individual keypad buttons from a third party interface. There is a thread about this on the 3rd party integration forum. It used to work fine, and then about the time the Alexa integration came online, the LEDs were always being scanned off, even when there was no RA2 programming driving them, which caused issues with 3rd party interfaces that depended on using those LED states. 11.5 almost fixed it, hopefully 11.6 is the full fix.
