Maestro C-L fan control & led dimmee

I just installed a new Maestro Fam Control and LEd dimmer and everytime I click to adjust the fan speed the switch makes a loud clicking sound. I'm assuming this is by design but dont see any note in the manual that it does this. Can you confirm this is operating correctly or if its not supposed to click. Note the fan click is not just the button clicking in and out (the light switch does that quietly) - this is more of a mechanical sounding click and much louder than just the button clicking.

It should not make any noise. What you are hearing is probably an electrical arc. You should take it back.
