Sheer and blackout shade orientation

Hi what is the best practice when laying out windows which will have both sheer and blackout shades. Which shade should be closer to the window the blackout or the sheer and why?

Generally when we have a dual-mount (two shades covering the same window) application, the blackout shade would be closest to the window. This would minimize the light gap between the blackout shade edge and the window frame.

One exception to this would be when we are using side channels with the blackout shade. Side channel is often placed on or under the wall trim around the window. This could leave space between the blackout and the glass to hide the sheer. The site will sometimes determine the best application.

I have a question about the Dual Narrow Bracket. I would like to put a flap and hanger to hide the rollers. Options show flush 3in Hanger, 3 in without tile support, and 3 in with tile support. I can not find any information on what these options mean. Any help ASAP would be great. Thanks in advance.

if you are using a pocket you built and not our bent metal one, you would use the 3" flush mount since that hanger does not have a "lip" on the bottom of it and is flat on the back. If you are using our metal pocket, you would need to choose the with or without tile support hanger.
