Lutron Motion Sensor

I tried to install the Lutron Motion sensor switch and I think I am doing something wrong, I can only get half my lights to turn off. My box has three black wires but there is only two black wires on the back of the switch, so I figured I would wire nut two of my black wires to one of the black wires on the back of the switch and then my other black wire I connected to the other black wire on the switch. in doing so only half my lights will turn off the other half stay on. Has anyone had this issue before? What was the solution?

Normally there is a single wire going up to the lights. It sounds like you may have 2. Connect the other black to the output of the switch.
