I'm wondering if there is a desktop Lutron dimmer for low voltage track lighting. One where you can plug in an electrical cord on one end and the dimmer into the socket.
All of the Lutron table-top, plug-in dimmers have a neutral connection and are rated for LED use. Credenza is the non-system family. Caseta, RA2 Select, RadioRA 2, and HomeWorks also have versions.

If your track is set up to be plugged in, yes the TTCL will work. There may be compatibility issues and MR16s are the hardest to control. The TTCL doesn't have any trim adjustments either.
