Replacing an MA-600 with an MACL-153M in a 3-way circuit.

If you are looking to replace an MA-600 with an MACL-153M in a 3-way circuit, you do not need to change out the existing MA-R that is in the other location on the 3-way circuit. The current MA-R will work fine with the new MACL-153M.

If you are changing out a newer MA-600 that has screw terminals, the screw colors remained the same. Disconnect the house wire off the screw of the MA-600, and attach it to the matching color screw of the MACL-153M.

If you are changing out an older MA-600 that has wires, the colors are almost the same. Disconnect the house wire from the MA-600 wire and attach to the MACL-153M in the following manner:

• The MA-600 black wire became the MACL-153M black screw.
• The MA-600 blue wire became the MACL-153M blue screw.
• The MA-600 red wire became the MACL-153M brass screw.
