RGB controls on RA2 select

I'm planning on some RGB coloured LED strips, and want a degree of control with Lutron RA2 Select.I understand RA2 Select doesn't control colour.Is it possible for me to first wire in the RA2 Select in line dimmer, then between the dimmer and LED strip, install a 3rd party RGB controller, and have a separate third party colour controlling switch?Then for example, the plan would be to set up the colour to for example Red.When using lutron scenes, the LED strip light would come up as red.If I wanted to change the colour to blue, I could do this with the third party switch, and the third party would remember I changed to blue.Then I could switch on and off, and dim with Lutron as normal.I understand its quite an ask, but hopefully there's a smart way to achieve this outcome
