Connect Bridge Update Tool crashes

I can not get the Connect Bridge Update Tool to update my CONNECT-BDG2 with a date code of 2A8. It gets to Searching for Connect Bridges.... Then it will just crashesthe app. It never goes to updating or anything like that. What is the next step to try and get the Bridge updated?
