This dimmer is controlling a dimmable LED bulb. As long as the light is illuminated all is well. The dimmer is fully functional. When the light is off, for some period of time, do not know for exactly how long the switch stops working. All the lights on the left of the switch are blinking. Resetting the switch by pulling the power tab generally restores functionality and allows the light to be controlled again. Any ideas/suggestions? Is it simply a defective dimmer?
Hi there! It sounds like you have an issue with LED Compatibility between the specific LED you are dimming and the MACL-153M. Could you provide the following information about your LED to help better assist you? Manufacturer of LED, Model number of the LED, Wattage of the LED, and the total number of LEDs being dimmed with the MACL-153M.
Also, what is your application type for this light? Single-Pole, 3-Way with a Mechanical Switch at the other location, 3-Way with a Maestro Companion
So the the application is Single Pole, no other switches are involved. The LED is a single EcoSmart ECSBR4075DL, 120V 60Hz 125mA 13.5W 5000 lumens bulb.
Thanks for that information, so it looks like we did test this bulb with our controls and it failed our compatibility testing. Could you try a different bulb and see if you continue to have issues?
