We are about to dim 22 LED fixtures that consume 13W each. The dimming method is trailing-edge, so an ELV dimmer is needed (RRD-6NA). The spec of the latter mentions max load of 600 W for Inc. and ELV. So 22 x 13W = 286 Watts. I understand we are good to go? I ask that because the C•L has a max load of 600W for Inc./Halo, but only 150 W for LEDs. Thank you all.
Have you checked the particular fixture on the LED website from Lutron? Which LED is it?
It's not in there, it's a Lightolier Lytecaster LED recessed light, housing model L3AE1. In general, I'd say 99% of the fixtures we encounter in our high-end architectural jobs are never listed in the lutron.com/led database...Quote:

OK will do. But you meant to say the "6NA should work", or really meant to use a 10ND? The fixture is reverse-phase dimming (ELV), not forward (MLV).Quote:

If reverse phase, then 6NA, yes. Some of the Lightolier fixtures required Lightolier dimmers (which they would discontinue after about three years...). You should be safe if the Lightolier spec's list the MAELV dimmer. That's of course assuming it uses the FET dimming that the 6NA uses. Hopefully a Lutronite will "shed some light" on this.
