Looking for some troubleshooting tips:I recently installed a Caseta Dimmer - 5PD-NE - single pole for four Lithonia 5BPMW LED 120 V 8.5 Watts recessed lights.The lights periodically emit a very brief, bright flash.They also have occasionaly turned off and then right back on.I've played with the trim and validated that the dimmer is set to reverse phase.What suggestions do folks have?
Working in technology, I should have tried this before posting. I did a reset to the default factory settings and all the flickering and turning on/off went away.
Ok I lied - when partially dimmed,there is still periodic flickering. It's not the flickering that we sometimes see when dimmed very low - where's it's a consistent flicker. This is an occasional / periodic flicker that doesn't have an obvious pattern. Sometimes it's once or twice a minute, other times it might be several minutes without a flicker.
Hello. I would call Lutron Tech Support regarding this with the PD-5NE. Should be a date code on the bottom left corner of the metal stamping of the unit. May start with SD11 or SD12. By providing them with this they may be able to tell you if there are any known issues or path to resolution for the dimmer you are using with this symptom.
