RRD-2ANF Compatibility with Modern Fan Company fans

I'm fairly certain the RRD-2ANF will work for this fan, but wanted to double check:

It is an AC motor, and after speaking with the company that makes it, the only two requirements are that the Lutron controls provide at at least 1A to the fan, and that the RRD-2ANF adjusts speed in a "step fashion" (which I think the 2ANF does - 3 steps).

They actually provide a basic 3-4 step "controller" that you can use if you would like (they also have more advanced RF options which I am avoiding).

Do you think this will work?

I think you are going to have to experiment. The 2ANF requires a fan with a permanent split capacitor. These typically have a pull-chain for speed control. The fan doesn't provide much technical data.

I would ask the manufacturer what happens if you put a toggle switch on the fan. Does the fan go to max speed? If so, there is a good chance the 2anf will work.
