We have a newly installed LED system with Maestro MACL-153MLH-WH dimmer in a 3 way system with 7 Halo RL560WH6927R LED cans. Other switch is a standard 3 way switch. Having trouble where if lights are turned off at the dimmer, they will not turn on at the other switch, and if lights are turned off at the other switch the dimmer will not turn them on. What is the problem and how would I fix?
This is mostly a wiring problem. I suggest you shut down electricity in the entire premise and perform a wire sniffing to make sure the wire colors match on all ends of the 3-way system circuit. Very important to shut down all the circuits, all of them, prior to testing.Quote:

This is a simple wiring issue. The MACL-153M-XX wiring requires that you change one wire location on the mechanical switch. There is also a simple programming step that needs to be completed. Please click here for updated wiring instructions. Step 6a will walk you through the correct wiring and step 9 walks you through the necessary programming.
