We have this control with one of ceiling fans and like it a lot. We have another older Casablanca fan and light that uses a single W-32 Intelli-Touch wall controller. Even though this controller is common for Casablanca fans, we do not like it. Do you know if the MA-L3L3 can replace the W-32 controller with a new MA-L3L3?
The L3L3 is a dimmer/dimmer combination. I would not recommend using a dimmer on any ceiling fan. Lutron makes a MACL-LFQ which is a dimmer/fan speed control.Quote:

It all depends on the type of control the Casablanca has. I would call Casablanca and ask them what would happen if you bypassed their controller/receiver and used a standard wallbox fan control. The other alternative is to use their remote to put the fan on high, then hide the remote. The LFQ might be able to control the fan. You may also have to do some rewiring to get the light off the Casablanca control so it can be controlled by the dimmer.
