I tried everything and I can't get it passed updating smart bridge
Model L-BDG2
- It says discovering.... the says updating smart bridge...
- I know the correct ip address
- I tried the advanced method.... still stuck updating smart bridge
- I press the reset button in the back, kept 20 sec, start flashing and I retried
Do I ship the device back to amazon ? Defect one ?

Have you tried to call Lutron's tech support? 1-800-523-9466
There may be other issues that they can help with over the phone. A lot faster than trading posts on a forum.
I work long hours, support doesn't answer the phone when I call.
I figured it out, I rebooted the tablet and it work
Lutron should invest into making the application better.
If Lutron eeds free consulting (I work in Technology), please contact me.
I am amazed only 10k people downloaded the caseta android app, this hardware should be much more popular, there is some marketing or advertising problem.
Also Lutron needs a bit more accessories ( Ineared to power off TV, sound system, etc) and have better distribution channels. ..
