Android Tasker Integration

Hi. Is anyone using Tasker to integrate the system? I've read that you'll need a Smartbridge Pro to connect through telnet.
Is there a way to send an IP command to the bridge to get it to activate themes?
I don't have the Pro version... :(

maybe a better approach would be to use Android intents. anyone?..
