Cannot Save Schedule Changes in App

I used to be able to make changes to the schedule through the iOS app (now iPadOS) but can no longer do so. It gives the error "1 device did not save the changes" and offers to retry. It doesn't matter which device or devices are selected but all give the same error even though I can control the devices themselves through the app. Since the home is in another town, being able to adjust things remotely is important so how can this be resolved?
